The pic turned out kinda far away but it gives you a good view of that side of the property in the background, when there is some grass on the hillside it will look so much better.  We saved as many trees as we could but so many had too much damage to survive after the ice storm.

Here's a view from the backside.  We put gates back here too so we can let who we want out w/the goats and miniature horses, this will also come in handy at feeding time, during vet visits, for breeding etc. . .  We have the bottle baby goats in w/Stella right.

Here's a view from one end.  We built some w/trees in them.  Great for shade.  We had to throw up some quick shelters yesterday but next weekend we're going to build some new dog houses.  I'll dig the igloos out tomorrow just in case it rains this week.  Our weathers been so up and down lately, every weekend it's been raining or freezing rain or snow or just a foot of mud to stomp around in!  I know I'll regret saying this later but I"m ready for summer!

So I updated pics on all the dogs tonight so check out their pages.  I'll get pics of the new dog runs tomorrow, they look really good and are very sturdy!

The fencing probably could've been repaired but it seemed like the perfect time to start fresh so we had the old fences bulldozed down and the clean-up and rebuilding began!  We're still working on the kennels, I'll take some more pics this weekend, they are heavy duty and nice.

We thought we'd share some pics from the ice storm.  We actually fled our house in the middle of the night from fear that a tree would fall on it.  We were VERY lucky, not one branch hit our house.

Let's start this off w/a big announcement!  Tara has been bred to Ruh!! You can see his pedigree here.  I love both of these dogs so much!  Ruh is an AKC Champion.  He also has his Canine Good Citizen Certificate.  He is an awesome guardian with an excellent temperament.  Tara has the same excellent temperament.  She has the ability to guard anything!  That includes our children!  She's a great teacher, she really sets Hande right when it comes to the goats.  I know these puppies are going to be the best guardians.  We're really excited about them.  We're going to take a few more deposits so don't wait if you really want an excellent guardian, you won't want to miss out on one of these!
