I'm like huh. It's true, I feel it's been d-day forever! I've never stared at a dog so much in my life. I was sitting here today looking at Tara thinking, is she breathing hard? Does she look like she has more milk? Of course I'm not even sure what normal breathing looks like at this point! Tara stares back at me, I'm sure she's thinking I'm off my rocker and wants to bark, "Stop staring at me!". She is acting uncomfortable tonight. Getting up and down, up and down and I've seen her stretching a little more. We'll see.

No matter what time she goes into labor I will post it here! Keep checking, they have to come out eventually!

They are the cutest things. Stella stayed out in the kidding stall w/me till after midnight. This momma goat isn't too friendly so I wouldn't let Stella in as soon as they were born even though she really pouted. I finally did and the pics weren't great but Stella licked them off and then she was satisfied! lol

There we are, watching and waiting! It was not so warm either. Excuse the PJ's, it was late!

One Boy and One Girl. The black one (one standing) is the boy and the tan one is the girl.

Stella got her chance to check them out and even though the momma isn't that friendly she didn't mind Stella cleaning her babies at all.

All dried off. I just love how they bounce around all over the place!

I think we did a pretty good job for our first one! We made it 4' x 5'. The countdown is on! Also an updated pic of the preggo Tara! She's looking pretty thick now. Thank goodness! It also really looks like thy are filling out, even though they weren't eating very good. I'm hoping that's a good sign that they are pregnant. I keep telling Tim that they are having morning sickness, lol.

I took Stella for a check-up and the annual rabies vaccine yesterday, she weighed in at 115 lbs. Everyone oohed and awwed over her and she loved it.
So we adopted a cat today. She's 3 years old and 11 lbs. Stella is MAD. She likes cats but doesn't want anything else but her in the house. She can be very jealous!

I've also been working on some basic commands with Mac, Tara and Hande. They are doing good and I'm really enjoying it. I never realized how great it was to have one that knew some basic commands until we got Stella. We'll see how long I keep up with it.

I'll update some pics soon, I just need to find the battery charger!

We've been waiting for a year for her heat cycle and I can't say I waited patiently! She will be bred to Mac!! Good news for alot you who have been waiting specifically for this match up. Mac won't eat he's so excited. Hande is not feeling the same way at the moment. Puppies should be due around November 9th! They will give you a size comparison. They are adjusting great to their new place. We're still waiting on all the girls to come in heat. I thought Stella would be first but from the way Mac acts I think it might be Tara!! I will keep everyone updated. We have a ton of fencing to do and new Kennels to build. Now they are all together w/the goats. So here's some pics!!
